The Department of Postal Service is responsible for:

Establishing comprehensive infrastructure frameworks, regulatory oversight strategies, and digital service modernizations for sovereign mail delivery and logistical distribution matrices:

// CARRIER REGULATION Regulate private postal carriers and manage standard validation guidelines to ensure compliance across logistics operators.
// LEGAL FRAMEWORKS Develop a structured national legal framework for providing transparent and accountable physical postal services.
// FISCAL STAMP INTEGRATION Collaborate with the Central Bank to deploy diverse stamp systems essential to achieve a self-sufficient post office ecosystem.
// REGIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Strengthen corporate partnerships and secure technical treaties between Somaliland Postal Service and regional countries.
// E-GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES Lead the execution of core government digital transformation initiatives directly pertaining to mail tracking and delivery.
// SYSTEM ESTABLISHED ROADMAPS Formulate systematic roadmaps to advance the strategic layout and implementation of a physical national post office.
// INBOUND & OUTBOUND REFORMS Construct fully-pledged physical data infrastructure blocks for inbound and outbound courier mail allocations.
// PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS Boost structural operational relationships between the Ministry and external private mail courier companies.
// GLOBAL LOGISTICS SCALE Enhance global shipping pipelines, optimize route distribution grids, and bolster International Postal Services.
// STAFF CAPACITY BUILDING Train and prepare departmental staff for modern processing frameworks to optimize day-to-day administrative functions.
// DEPARTMENTAL MANAGEMENT Approve optimized inner structural charts, evaluate staff operations, and report regularly to ministry top management.
// EXECUTIVE DELEGATION Execute urgent, strategic tasks delegated directly by the Minister and Director General in an efficient, timely fashion.
