The Digital Academy is an initiative under the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), established to strengthen digital capacity and support the ongoing digital transformation of public institutions across Somaliland.
The primary objective of the Digital Academy is to enhance the digital skills, knowledge, and engagement of civil servants in order to improve public service delivery and ensure citizens benefit from efficient, modern, and technology-driven services.
Through specialized training programs and learning initiatives, the Digital Academy empowers government institutions to build essential digital capabilities required to operate effectively in the modern digital era.
The Ministry of ICT utilizes a broad range of learning interventions, workshops, and professional development programs focused on ICT utilization, digital literacy, innovation, and agile methodologies to strengthen institutional performance and accelerate sustainable technological development.
