CORE MANDATES OF THE DEPARTMENT

• Preparing Ministry’s Five year strategic plan in line with the National Development Plans.
• Conducting researches and preparation of annual statistical reports in collaboration with other departments.
• Developing and reviewing policies and ensuring their compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation strategies.
• Cooperating with the international and local NGOs, in matters related to the Ministry's mandate.
• Organizing and planning the Ministry's international and local conferences.
• Does whatever the Minister and Director General Delegates him/her in timely fashion.
• Coordinating the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.
• Providing technical guidance and support for institutionalization of strategic planning and budgeting process within the Ministry.
• Preparing annual work plans, Ministry development programs, and department strategy documents.
