Core Mandates of the Department

The Planning, Statistics and Monitoring & Evaluation division drives long-term strategic implementation, data research compliance, and metrics governance across the Ministry:

// STRATEGIC PLANNING Preparing Ministry’s Five year strategic plan in line with the comprehensive National Development Plans.
// STATISTICAL EVALUATIONS Conducting targeted field researches and system preparation of annual statistical reports in collaboration with other departments.
// POLICY REVIEWS Developing and reviewing internal sector policies and ensuring their total compliance with current statutory laws and regulations.
// SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AUDITS Developing and implementing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation strategies across all deployed programs.
// NGO COOPERATION Cooperating with international and local NGOs in administrative matters explicitly related to the Ministry's core mandate.
// SUMMIT MEETINGS Organizing and planning the Ministry's local and international technological forums and sector conferences.
// EXECUTIVE ORDERS Does whatever priority tasks or strategy functions the Minister and Director General delegates him/her in a timely fashion.
// PROGRESS REPORTING Coordinating the cross-department preparation of the official monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports.
// BUDGETARY SUPPORT Providing technical guidance and support for the systematic institutionalization of strategic planning and budgeting processes within the Ministry.
// ANNUAL ROADMAPS Preparing structured annual work plans, priority Ministry development programs, and target department strategy documents.
