About the Ministry
Ministry of Communications and Technology • Republic of Somaliland
Established in 1993 as the Ministry of Communication and Post, the Ministry has evolved through several transformative phases to meet the growing demands of the digital era. In accordance with Official Gazette Legislation No. 01/2018, the Ministry was officially restructured and renamed the Ministry of Communications and Technology, reflecting its expanded role in driving innovation, digital transformation, and national connectivity across Somaliland.

To provide universal access to reliable, secure, and innovative ICT infrastructure and services across Somaliland, enabling sustainable socio-economic development for all citizens.
